Program’s overview

The Department of Rural and Urban Development offers a comprehensive curriculum designed to cultivate responsible citizens and future leaders.
The academic program equips students with the knowledge, skills, and perspectives necessary to understand, analyze, and contribute to the sustainable development of both rural and urban areas.
The curriculum spans diverse subjects, encompassing population and development, demography, rural and urban planning, natural resources management, and sustainable development.
It fosters a holistic understanding of the socio-economic, environmental, and political dynamics influencing rural and urban development by exploring their interconnectedness and mutual impact.
The program enhances students' ability to analyze complex development issues and empowers them to evaluate and devise effective policies and strategies that advance sustainable rural and urban development.
