During the 7th graduation ceremony held on November 9, 2018, Mgr Smaragde Mbonyintege, Chancellor of the Institut Catholique urges its graduates to stand out from others by showing skills and competences that go hand in hand with human and christian values in their professional milieu.
You have already been prepared for hard-work, you have been entrusted with best knowledge, skills and positive values. Love your job first and do it well before thinking about the wage, the chancellor reminded the graduates. The Chancellor urged ICK graduates to be exceptional people in society as they have been excellent students. Skills, professionalism and values are key components for graduates that ICK wants, the Chancellor concluded.
The graduates also praised the quality education they got from ICK. We are glad and thankful to the Diocese of Kabgayi that does not preserve any effort to support the ICK in its mission to provide quality education we are witnesses. We also highly appreciate the extent to which ICK gradually goes on diversifying its academic programs to better serve the community and we look forward to hearing the launch of the Master's programs for further study, "said Fidèle Dushimimana, graduates' representative.
During the ceremony, 7 outstanding students were awarded prizes of excellence.
At this 7th Graduation Ceremony, 389 candidates from ICK departments graduated. So far, more than 2750 have already graduated from the Institute.
