During their visit of February 16, 2019 to ICK, graduates of the first promotion of the Faculty of Sciences of Development resolved to be actively involved in the life of this institution.
In his speech, Emmanuel Habyarimana, the class representative recalled quality education that ICK provided them and that made them very competent on the labor market. "We are very proud to have graduated from ICK and are satisfied with knowledge, skills and competencies we got from ICK. We are sincerely grateful to the Diocese of Kabgayi that founded ICK so as to allow the surrounding population to have easy access to quality higher education. Without ICK, we would not be who we are today", the class representative declared. "As concrete recognition, it’s time to think about a tangible project to support our Institute as soon as possible", he concluded.
During his welcome note, the Vice Chancellor updated the graduates on current affairs and expressed his profound appreciation for their substantial initiative. "Your presence here and your testimonials are a good indicator that the objectives of ICK are being achieved. However, the journey is still very long", the Vice Chancellor declared. The VC highly appreciated the graduates’ good plans for ICK and promised good collaboration.
ICK graduates plan to play a significant role in the development of ICK in various fields. After a consultation meeting, feasible actions will be directly implemented.
